Finding your blueprint
If there’s one thing all true fashion girls have in common, it’s this – the uniform. Here are three of our favourite tried and tested outfit formulas we will always go back to.
Suited and Booted
Think pleats, sharp silhouettes and retro power suiting. We’re taking our inspiration directly from Saint Laurent SS25, where we saw menswear ties layered with oversized leather bomber jackets for a super fresh take on the oversized blazer trend.
We love to style ours with penny loafers, a crisp white shirt and a leather shoulder bag. But, remember that versatility is the aim of the game here so don’t hesitate to experiment with shape and scale. An oversized cuff can really take your look to the next level.
Style Notes: Focusing on proportions is a great way to keep a look feeling balanced. Going oversized? Bring the shape in with a slim pointed toe heel, or create an interesting contrast with a flat, sporty sandal.

Double Denim
The Canadian Tuxedo is a formula approved by fashion lovers worldwide. Our advice here is let one hero piece do the talking. Going for a printed jacket? Keep the rest of the look simple with a clean cut, straight leg jean.
The shape of the season is the barrel leg, and there are great pieces available at every price point. We love the Tibi Sid as a true investment piece, or check out Marks and Spencers horseshoe offering for a budget friendly high street alternative.

The Co-Ord
What could be easier than the matching set? A year round wardrobe staple, these dynamic duos have the power to make you look and feel put together without any planning ahead. In the summer we love to fall back on our linen shorts and shirt sets, mixing and matching to keep our wardrobes feeling fresh with minimal effort.
In the cooler months our focus turns to print, embellishment and feathers – I mean, who said matching had to mean boring?
Style Notes: When building a capsule wardrobe, focus on the shapes and colours you feel best in and go from there. Always seem to end up in your favourite linen waistcoat and trouser co-ord? Add a pair of tailored suit shorts to your collection and alternate.
